"Re- explores how visual language can be communicated using surface, colour and texture within and of the photograph. The portraits and still-lives sit between the performative and the provocative with an intention to stage a fictional situation between photographer, camera and subject. The inclusion of the body exploits theatricality, discomfort and pleasure, used to represent the slippage between public and private."
